Cookie Policy

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Some are needed for a site to work at all; others are optional and may only be set with your permission.

The three groups

  • Necessary — always on. Your cart, your sign-in and your cookie choice.
  • Analytics — off. No analytics tool is installed. The switch exists so that one added later can only run if you allow it.
  • Marketing — off unless you switch it on. WooCommerce order attribution: which site, campaign or link brought you here, saved with your order if you buy.

Necessary cookies

Marketing cookies — only with your consent

If you place an order while these are allowed, their values are saved with the order so we can see which links lead to sales. They are read only by us and are not shared with any advertising network. Choosing “Reject non-essential”, or switching Marketing off later, deletes them straight away.

Analytics cookies

None. If an analytics tool is ever added, it will be listed here and will run only if you switch Analytics on.

Local storage

The shop remembers whether you chose to show model names on the catalogue, under the key s3-names in your browser’s local storage. It is written only when you use that switch, stays until you clear it, and never leaves your browser.

Third parties

None. Fonts, scripts and the 3D viewer are served from our own server, so browsing the site does not make your browser contact Google Fonts, a content delivery network, an analytics service or an advertising network. Payment is by bank transfer, so no payment provider’s scripts load either.

Changing your choice

Use “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page, or the button at the top of this one. You can also delete cookies in your browser at any time; the banner then asks again on your next visit. Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again.

Legal basis

Necessary cookies are set because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive; in Germany § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Marketing and analytics cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive, § 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More on how we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
