Answers to the questions support actually receives, grouped by what you are trying to do. If none of this covers it, write to support and a person replies within two business days, or one on a studio plan.

Getting started

Do I need to install anything?
No. The studio runs in the browser, and the generation itself happens on our side — so the machine you are sitting at only has to display the result, not compute it. You can close the tab mid-job; it carries on and lands in your library.
How many jobs can I run at once?
10 at a time. Anything beyond that queues and starts on its own as slots free up, so there is no reason to sit and wait before submitting the next one.
How long does a generation take?
The mesh job has a median of 2 m 17 s across the 28 runs finished here, and the texture job a median of 4 m 52 s across 25. Those are measurements of this install rather than targets — a dense diorama takes considerably longer than a single prop.
How do I write a prompt that works?
Name the object first, then the material, then the style, and describe one object rather than a scene — asking for a table with three books on it usually returns one fused lump. The field takes up to 600 characters, but short prompts beat long ones: a long list of adjectives tends to average itself out.
What should I upload for image-to-3D?
A photograph or render up to 20 MB, with the object filling most of the frame on a plain background and lit evenly. You can supply up to 4 views of the same object — do, whenever the back or the sides will be seen, because what the camera never saw is inferred rather than measured.

Tokens and billing

What does each action cost?
A preview mesh from a prompt is 8 tokens and the texture pass on top of it is 15, so a finished textured model from text is 23. From a photograph it is one job rather than two, at 45. The full table, including restyle and optimise, is on the pricing page.
How do I buy tokens?
Packs are a single payment for a single balance: Starter is 100 tokens for 9,00 €, Creator is 500 tokens for 39,00 €, Studio Pack is 2,000 tokens for 129,00 €. You can also name your own amount, anywhere between 5,00 € and 500,00 €, at a flat 12 tokens per unit.
Do tokens expire?
No, and nothing renews. There is no subscription and no monthly reset, so a quiet month costs nothing and takes nothing away. A balance bought today is still a balance next year.
A job failed. Was I charged?
No. Tokens are held when a job starts, not spent, and the whole hold is released if the job fails, times out, is cancelled or is stopped by the moderation filter. Both the hold and the release appear as separate lines in your wallet history, so you can see it happen rather than take it on trust.
Why did the final cost differ from the estimate?
Because the figure quoted before you generate is an estimate held against your balance, and it is reconciled once the job reports what it actually consumed. If that came in under the estimate the difference is released back to you; the reconciliation is its own line in your wallet.
Where do I see what I have spent?
In your account. The wallet lists every movement with its reason — tokens purchased, generation, refunded, promo code, adjustment, cost reconciled — and the balance is derived from that list rather than stored separately.
Do you take promo codes?
Yes. Redeem one from the wallet and the tokens land in your balance immediately, as a promo line in the same history as everything else.

Generating

The back of my model is flat or smeared
That is a single-image reconstruction inventing a surface it never saw. Photograph the object from up to 4 angles and use the multi-image route instead — front, back and both sides. It is the single most effective fix available and it does not cost more than the one-image job.
The shape is close but not right
Re-run the preview before rewriting the prompt. That is the entire reason the pipeline is split in two: a second attempt at the shape costs 8 tokens, against 23 for a textured model you then throw away. If three attempts miss in the same way, the prompt is the problem, and shortening it usually helps more than adding to it.
Should I choose quads or triangles?
Quads if a person is going to edit the mesh — edge loops and subdivision need them. Triangles if it goes straight into an engine, which triangulates on import anyway. The choice is made before the job starts and cannot be changed afterwards, so decide before you spend the tokens.
How dense is the geometry, and can I change it?
You set a triangle budget between 100 and 300,000 before the job runs. Afterwards, optimise rebuilds an existing model at a different budget for 8 tokens, which generally beats decimating it yourself because it rebuilds the mesh rather than collapsing edges.
Can I get a different look without regenerating the shape?
Yes — restyle keeps the geometry and generates a new texture set from a fresh prompt, for 15 tokens a pass. One crate becomes a wooden crate, a rusted crate and a mossy crate, all on identical topology, which is easier for an engine to batch and easier to keep visually consistent.
My prompt was stopped by the moderation filter
Moderation is on, and a blocked job is refunded in full — the hold is released exactly as it is for a failure. If a legitimate prompt is being caught, send it to us and we will look at the specific wording rather than guess.
Can I generate a whole scene?
Generate objects, not scenes. Asking for a room returns one fused mesh that cannot be sensibly split or lit. Generate each object on its own and assemble them in your engine, which also leaves you with pieces you can reuse.

Files and formats

Which formats can I download?
Whichever of GLB · FBX · OBJ · STL · USDZ you asked the job for. GLB carries its textures inside the single file; FBX and OBJ reference them alongside, so keep the folder together when you move things around.
How big are the files?
Measured across everything this install has produced: OBJ has a median of 68.1 MB over 45 files, GLB has a median of 18.8 MB over 53 files, FBX has a median of 35.1 MB over 44 files.. Nothing is compressed for that figure. Run optimise to a lower triangle budget, and for web delivery apply Draco or Meshopt on your side, which usually takes most of it off again.
What comes with a textured job?
The maps arrive as separate files rather than baked into one image: Base colour, Metallic, Roughness, Normal, Emission. Having them loose is what lets a technical artist pack channels or swap a single map without regenerating anything.
Do re-downloads cost anything?
No, and they never have. Finished models are re-hosted here rather than linked, so nothing expires out from under you. Opening one in the viewer, toggling the wireframe and downloading it again in every format it was built with are all free, as often as you like.
Surface detail looks inverted in my engine
That is the normal map green channel: some engines expect it one way round and some the other. Flip the green channel on the normal texture at import. If the whole model reads chalky instead, that is colour space — base colour must be sRGB and the normal, roughness and metallic maps must be linear.

Licensing

Do models I generate need a licence?
No. Anything you generate from your own prompt or your own images is yours to use commercially, in any number of projects, with nothing extra to buy. The only obligation is that you had the right to upload whatever reference images you used.
Which shop licence do I need?
Standard covers one project and its whole team. Extended removes the project limit and permits the file to change hands — handed to a client, or shipped inside something you sell. Across the shop today Standard runs 15,00 € to 45,00 € and Extended runs 89,00 € to 279,00 €. The worked examples are on the licensing page.
What can I never do with a shop model?
Resell it as a model — uploading it to another asset store, putting it in a pack, or distributing the raw file anywhere the file itself is what the recipient is getting. Retexturing or decimating it first does not change that. The licensing page has the full list, including the training-data and trademark restrictions.
Can I check the topology before I buy?
Yes. Every model in the shop opens in the browser viewer with a wireframe toggle before you pay, alongside its measured triangle count, vertex count and file sizes. A shaded render cannot answer "is this usable", so we do not ask you to buy on the strength of one.

Your account

Where is everything I have made?
Under My models in your account, alongside your orders, your billing details and your wallet. Generated models and purchased models sit in the same library and download the same way.
Who else can see my models?
Nobody. Jobs, prompts and files belong to the account that created them, and every request for one is checked against that ownership before anything is served. A model becomes visible to other people only if it is published to the shop.
What happens to my prompts and uploads?
The prompt and any reference image are sent to the generation service to run the job, and the prompt is kept against the job afterwards so you can see what produced what — it is the caption under every model in the gallery. The finished files are copied here rather than left on a third-party URL, which is why they do not expire.
